About Julie

Julie is a certified yoga instructor for both adults and children. She received her vinyasa and hatha certification at Frog Lotus Yoga in Massachusetts and her children's certifications from Yoga Ed. and the Radiant Child Yoga Program. Additionally, she holds a certification through the American Council on Exercise (ACE). At the present moment, she is participating in Shiva Rea's 500/hour prana-vinyasa flow teacher training, a style of yoga that truly celebrates life's flow. Julie has also participated in an advanced teacher training program with Seane Corn. Currently, she shares her love of yoga throughout Long Island, where she teaches in wellness studios, gyms, and public libraries, operating under her new traveling yoga studio, Wingspan Yoga.

Aside from being a yoga instructor, Julie has been dancing all her life and graduated with a B.A. in dance from Muhlenberg College. One of Julie's dancing highlights was when she was a performer in Walt Disney World, an experience that will keep her imagination glowing for years to come. Currently, Julie is a member of Circle of Dance Repertory Company and the Dany Holdsteins Dance Company, where she performs in venues in Long Island and New York City.

In Julie's classes, she encourages students to find their own personal expression as they flow from posture to posture. Each class combines strength and fluidity, bringing an enlivened sense of freedom and joy!

She invites you to discover your wings and let your yoga practice soar off your mat and into your life!
